What is RSS?

RSS, also known as Really Simple Syndication, is a way of publishing headlines and summaries about late-breaking news and announcement, so that they can be picked up and displayed automatically, without the need to visit the site in question. RSS news feeds can be relayed to a news reader on your computer, or displayed on subscribing web sites.

Either way, the headlines you want to see are piped directly to you. When a headline catches your eye, you simply click on it to see the full story.

To receive The Investment Property Centre's news feed, you need to have an RSS reader (or 'client'). RSS Clients are listed further down this page.

Once you have chosen your reader, you simply start it and add links to each of the RSS news sources that you are interested in. Apart from ours, you may want to add links from the BBC or one of the major newspapers. Some of these have news feeds specifically for property investors. Links are usually displayed with one of the following buttons:
